Accident Victim Edward Yebra, Dacula, Gwinnett County, In Coma After Being Dragged By Truck

A 16-year-old metro Atlanta student remained in a coma Thursday at Gwinnett Medical Center, after he was dragged while hanging onto a truck, according to witnesses.

Edward Yebra, 16, also of Dacula, is hospitalized in a coma after being dragged by a truck driven by the suspects. Police have arrested the suspects on several charges and are being held in Gwinnett County Detention Center.

Police say Yebra went outside to talk to the two men in the truck and began fighting with them. The next thing friends seen was Yebra being dragged by the truck. He was found several feet up the road and still remains in a coma.

This accident is right down the street from our office.   Our prayers goes out to the victim and his family and friends.  The family should seek legal representation immediately to protect their rights to punish to the fullest extent for this act of inhumane behavior.

Ernst and Park LLC has represented families in tragic times like this.  We hope that an insurance company will not try to make the family a victim again by withholding on what little compensation the family is entitled to for the injuries of their family member.

We at Ernst Park LLC have successfully represented clients in this situation and will fight for the right of the victim.  We can be reached at either 770-291-2009 or our Jasper Office at 706-253-2946.
