One man is in the hospital after running into a truck transporting a trailer full of wood. Lanes from I-516 West between I-16 and Augusta Ave. are still closed, but should be open in 30 minutes to an hour, said Chatham Metro Police. April 9, 2003: The AJC reports that Georgia has decided to hire Western Kentucky’s Dennis Felton. He replaces Jim Harrick, who resigned amid an academic scandal. Felton had a 100-54 record with the Hilltoppers, and led them to the NCAA tournament three consecutive years.
