AUBURN – Gwinnett County authorities said an Auburn man was killed and his passenger critically injured in a Friday afternoon accident. Gwinnett police identified the victim as Timothy Christopher, 45, of Auburn.

Richardson — who currently serves on the District 2 council seat — required outpatient surgery earlier that day for an injury he received from an ATV accident in May. He has had two previous surgeries, but Richardson had said the pain had become unbearable.
