Woman jailed after causing accident
Stephanie Denise Lowery, 42, of 139 Northridge Drive in Winder, was attempting to cross Highway 8 when she failed to yield to oncoming traffic. In the course of investigating the accident, the officer determined that Lowery had a canceled drivers license.
