Seizure May have Caused Pro Wrestler to Crash Jeep in Georgia
Professional wrestler Marcus “Buff” Bagwell may have suffered a seizure just before he was seriously injured when he flipped his Jeep, according to police reports. Bagwell remained in intensive care Wednesday with several broken bones in his neck, face and jaw two days after the Cherokee County wreck. Bagwell, 42, was northbound on Buckhead Crossing around 1:35 p.m. Monday when he called his wife to tell her he was going to have a seizure, the Woodstock police report states. He then turned left onto Running Deer Parkway, where his 2005 Jeep Wrangler hit the curb for several hundred feet, according to police. Investigators believe Bagwell, who lives in Woodstock with his wife, then made a sharp left turn that caused his Jeep to spin across the raised median and roll over, police said. Bagwell was transported by ambulance to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, where he remains sedated due to the extent of his injuries.

Pedestrian Struck Multiple Times on I-75 in Georgia
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the death of a person who was struck several times and killed on I-75 in Bartow County. GSP spokesman Gordy Wright said a Bartow sheriff’s deputy found the body around 1:35 a.m. in the interstate’s northbound lanes near Glade Road after he stopped to check on a vehicle on the shoulder. “The person had been hit multiple times by oncoming traffic,” Wright said in a statement. “It appears the person was in the travel lanes when the initial impact occurred.” Authorities believe a large vehicle, possibly a truck, hit the pedestrian first, and they were on the lookout for a vehicle that would have damage consistent with striking a pedestrian. Wright said the GSP is working with the Bartow sheriff’s office and coroner’s office to identify the person and notify the next of kin.
