Man Hospitalized After Accident at "Ice Bar"
Atlanta’s first “ice bar” has decided to scrap one of their signature drinks after a liquid nitrogen mishap.
The Czar Ice Bar, located in the East Andrews section of Buckhead, opened their doors earlier, this week, offers an abundance of vodka from all over the world. The bar aimed to bring a different type of bar to the city — however, an incident with liquid nitrogen sent a man to the hospital and forced owners to reconsider. Although the injured man has recovered, the restaurant decided to remove liquid nitrogen from their menu and will instead serve other types of alternatively cooled vodka beverages. The Czar Ice Bar is located at 56 East Andrews Drive in Atlanta.

Pedestrian Killed in Atlanta
Police were investigating the death of a pedestrian on a busy metro Atlanta thoroughfare that tied up morning rush-hour traffic.
The death, which occurred around 4:30 a.m. Monday, led to the closure of all eastbound lanes of Interstate 285 at the start of the morning rush hour. By 10 a.m., the lanes had reopened in the area, which is near the Ashford Dunwoody Road interchange. Dunwoody police said the ordeal began when two vehicles collided in the westbound lanes. A motorist from that wreck left his vehicle, jumped over the median wall and entered the eastbound lanes, where he was struck by several vehicles. Police said no charges are expected to be filed against any of the drivers who struck the pedestrian.
